“Green cleaning” can be defined as the process of a company cheating investors and the public in environmental protection to improve its reputation. A company can claim that “green” is only for marketing purposes, with little or no effort to become more sustainable.

“Green and clean” is becoming more and more common among the world’s largest enterprises, and financial regulators are also involved. Because it is reported that the bank is obviously “green and clean”.

However, Les Roberts, the content manager of Bionic, provided some insights and explained his reasons for dealing with the climate crisis, not just big enterprises.

“Environmental sustainability is an important issue that can be solved at home and at work. However, many small business owners are shocked by the high cost of installing renewable energy systems and confused by complex terms related to becoming more environmentally friendly.”

He added: “The responsibility for reducing the carbon footprint is mainly the company with the largest income in the world, but even if our small businesses use small changes in their daily operations, they will also have a great impact in the fight against climate change.” To be more sustainable, there is no need for complexity or “consuming the planet”.

He said that it is important for the company to put its own ideas into practice. As we have found, many large enterprises have fallen into the problem of misleading our green practices. For practical change, actions should be real and practical

Bionic also recommends a more sustainable approach for small businesses.

If you hire a reasonable number of employees, why not set up a designated team to be responsible for sustainable development? Give your employees free rein, encourage them to come up with new ideas, and help your business go green.

Rewards are usually very effective for customers, so whenever customers carry their bags or get some old packaging from your store, you can consider giving them points.

Employees can be encouraged to consider using reusable water bottles. If you have enough funds, you can even create something with the corporate logo from the funds to create a good sense of unity in your work.

Adding plants to an office or work area has many benefits. Some green really brightens the room. If you want to study science in depth, it means that more plants produce more oxygen. This will also help create a more pleasant workspace for your employees

As a small business owner, you can try and encourage employees to pay attention to recycling. Why not have an interesting training day for your team? Can you spend a few hours there really knowing what you can do as an enterprise and how to improve your system? Ask them for ideas and come up with effective plans.

If you are not sure who has green qualification in the supply chain, please consult the Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) policy. The corporate social responsibility policy is used to demonstrate the ethical operation of the enterprise and consider the social, economic and environmental impacts of the behavior. If the supplier does not meet the standards, look for other sustainable suppliers.
